Distance Learning

Distance Learning tips for home to help your students:

  • If students in the same class are podding up, and sit close to one another, the feedback from the two computers can be super distracting to the group. One mic must be turned off when the other is on.

  • Try to point your child’s chromebook at a blank wall. If the camera takes in the full view of the room, everyone in the Google Meet is also taking in the full view of the room and the comings and goings of other family members.

  • Consider having your child use a headset with a microphone. Parent phone calls, work conference calls, and home conversations at times are getting picked up by the internal microphones.
