Run by the Wildwood Dad’s Club, the Welcome Back BBQ is usually held in late August. Look forward to some good old-fashioned fun, food, and fellowship with your fellow Wildwooders. Various groups for Wildwood and Piedmont will also be present, so it’s a great way to find out how to be involved.
The Piedmont Harvest Festival is a beloved event that happens towards the end of September. Each grade gets together before the festival to build a scarecrow, which is then displayed and auctioned off at the Harvest Festival. Watch for emails from your class parents for scarecrow building activities.
The Giving Campaign aims to raise funds to support the Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD). The funds raised through this campaign help bridge the funding gap between what the district receives from state and local taxes and what is needed to maintain the high quality of education in Piedmont schools. The Giving Campaign typically starts late September.
The Pumpkin Patch is organized by the Wildwood Dads’ Club. It's a popular local event where you can purchase pumpkins and participate in a contest to guess the weight of Giant Jack. The proceeds go towards supporting the Wildwood Elementary School. The Pumpkin Patch typically opens late September/early October and runs through October.
The Book Fair is held at Wildwood and is an opportunity for students to browse and purchase a variety of books, from classic children's stories to the latest bestsellers. The book fair often includes special events like readings and milk & cookies. It runs for a week and happens twice a year, once in October and once in late April or early May.
The Crab Feed is a popular event run by the Wildwood Dads’ Club. The event typically features all-you-can-eat crab, music, and performances. Proceeds from the event go to fund capital and infrastructure improvements to Wildwood Elementary School. The event usually happens in early February.
Spring Fling is the annual fundraiser benefiting the three Piedmont elementary schools. This important campaign brings together the entire community to support our children’s education. Funds raised by Spring Fling go directly to the schools, supporting music, science, art, math, computer, library activities and other vital programs. Tickets go on sale in March for the event in early May.
